▲鳳林小鎮午餐時光 以自由探索的方式，讓旅人親自發掘在地美食，這裡不僅是國際慢城，更能感受地方生活與人情味。 ▲林田山林業文化園區 曾是台灣三大林場之一，至今仍保留著完整的日治時期林業聚落，讓旅人能夠回顧過去的伐木歷史與林場生。之後來到美好花生，了解花生產業與加工技術，體驗地方農產的魅力。 ▲美好花生 美好花生位於鳳林，秉持傳承媽媽手工炒花生的技藝，選用在地優質落花生，製作出香鹹酥脆的花生產品。透過落花生產銷班，穩定品質與產量，支持農民在地耕作並保障收益。除了經典鹽酥花生，還有花生醬、花生油、花生糖及牛軋糖等多樣伴手禮。實體門市提供花生湯與海鹽花生霜淇淋。美好花生結合農業與藝文，舉辦展覽及活動，讓食農文化與藝術在純樸農村生活中自然交融，展現地方風采與人文魅力。若遇美好花生公休(週三)，將會更改景點至"考古博物館"。 ▲池南國家森林遊樂園區 池南森林遊樂區位於風光明媚的鯉魚潭兩側，融合壯麗山景與豐富自然生態。從花蓮市出發不久便可抵達，沿途可欣賞鯉魚山與潭水交織出的迷人風光。園區地形多樣，森林以亞熱帶闊葉林為主，棲息著多種蛙類、爬蟲類與鳥類，如端紅蝶、拉都希氏赤蛙及烏頭翁等，是觀察生態的最佳場域。沿山脊步道登高，可俯瞰花東縱谷與木瓜溪壯麗交會的景色。園區內的林業陳列館則展示早期伐木歷史與器具，兼具自然與人文之美，適合闔家深度探索。若遇休園，則改至立川漁場摸蜆體驗，讓旅人親身體驗傳統水產養殖方式，增加互動與趣味性。 ▲鯉魚潭生態觀察 夜晚的鯉魚潭展現出截然不同的風貌。專業導覽員將帶領旅人沿湖探索，尋找夜行性生物，如台灣特有的貢德氏赤蛙、螢火蟲、獨角仙與貓頭鷹等。靜謐中可聽見青蛙低鳴、貓頭鷹呼喚，偶爾還能看見白面鼯鼠穿梭林間。為營造最佳觀星與觀察環境，特別安排低光害設計，讓旅人能欣賞星空與湖面銀河倒影，深入體驗夜間生態的奧妙與自然共存的感動。 ▲ Lunch in Fonglin Town Enjoy a relaxing lunchtime in Fonglin, where travelers are free to explore and discover local delicacies on their own. ▲ Lintianshan Forestry Cultural Park Once one of Taiwan’s three major logging sites, Lintianshan still preserves a complete Japanese-era forestry village. Here, visitors can learn about the area’s rich logging history and the lives of forest workers. The journey continues at “Wonderful Peanut,” where guests can discover the peanut industry and its processing techniques, experiencing the charm of local agriculture.

▲ Meihao Peanuts Shop Meihao Peanuts, located in Fenglin, carries on the tradition of handmade peanut roasting passed down from “Mama.” Using locally sourced high-quality peanuts, they create savory and crispy peanut products. Through a peanut production and marketing cooperative, they ensure stable quality and supply, supporting local farmers with fair prices. Besides classic salted peanuts, they offer a variety of gifts such as peanut butter, peanut oil, peanut candy, and nougat. Their physical store also serves peanut soup and sea salt peanut soft-serve ice cream. Meihao Peanuts blends agriculture with art by hosting exhibitions and events, allowing food culture and the arts to naturally integrate into rural life, showcasing local charm and cultural richness.If Meihao Peanuts is closed (Wednesdays), the itinerary will be changed to visit the Hualien Archaeological Museum.

▲ Chinan National Forest Recreation Area Located on both sides of scenic Liyu Lake, Chinan Forest Recreation Area blends stunning mountain views with vibrant natural ecosystems. Just a short drive from Hualien City, the route offers picturesque views of Liyu Mountain and the lake. The area features diverse terrain and lush subtropical broadleaf forests, home to frogs, reptiles, and birds such as the striking Great Orange Tip butterfly, Günther’s frog, and the endemic Black Bulbul. Hiking along the ridge trails rewards visitors with sweeping views of the East Rift Valley and the confluence of the Mugua and Hualien Rivers. The on-site Forestry Exhibition Hall showcases early logging tools and history, combining natural beauty with cultural insight—perfect for families seeking an enriching outdoor experience. If the park is closed, the itinerary will be adjusted to Lucai Aquafarm, where guests can enjoy a fun, hands-on clam harvesting experience and learn about traditional aquaculture.

▲ Liyu Lake Night Ecology Tour As night falls, Liyu Lake reveals a different kind of beauty. A guided ecological tour leads visitors along the lakeshore in search of nocturnal wildlife such as the endemic Günther’s frog, fireflies, rhinoceros beetles, and owls. In the serene atmosphere, guests can hear the low croaks of frogs and the soft hoots of owls, and may even spot the elusive white-faced flying squirrel gliding between trees. To enhance the stargazing experience, the tour takes place under low light pollution, offering a chance to marvel at a sky full of stars and the Milky Way reflected on the lake’s surface. This immersive night tour fosters a deeper connection with nature and raises awareness of environmental conservation.
